Saudi BASF strengthens its Distributor Network in the Kingdom
Rapid expansion connects Master Builders Solutions from BASF to a wider customer base
Saudi BASF is developing its network of professional, technically competent distributors throughout the kingdom to ensure availability of its Master Builders Solutions brand to every project, from the smallest, to the largest mega projects.
Gulf Marketing Manager, Brian Williams explains, "We are very proud of our position as market leaders in supply of technical solutions in the concrete producing, concrete protection and repair, waterproofing, performance flooring, precision grouts and specialist tile adhesive sectors, and how we, over the past 20 plus years, strongly contributed to the success of most of the iconic building and infrastructure projects within the Kingdom. However, our reach into tier 2 projects, especially outside of the major cities, has been less effective, and yet, these projects face exactly the same challenges as the larger ones! Our goal is to make our Master Builders Solutions available through a network of trained, professional distributors, who will hold local stocks and provide first response, technical support, backed up by our nationwide strong team of sales and technical service engineers."
Moustafa Dawoud who is the Indirect Distribution Channel Manager – Western Region, added, "We are well advanced in the West, with already strong partnerships being established. One of the breakthrough agreements was with MASDAR Building Materials one of KSA's leading suppliers and who has, themselves ambitious plans for growth. In addition, Bagunaid Trading Company with two showrooms, in Jeddah, and more than 25 years of experience in construction chemicals, and Platinum Contracting Company, also in Jeddah, a leading contracting and trading company with exclusive agencies with multinational building materials manufacturers, both chose BASF as their primary supply partner. More strong business relationships have already or are being developed in Mecca, Medina, Taif, Yanbu, Tabuk and in the Southern region."
Mohammed Mansoor, the newly appointed Indirect Distribution Manager for the Central Region, says "The central region looks very promising with huge residential and industrial projects especially in the northern area of Riyadh. From the beginning of 2018 we have successfully established 3 new distributors with strong experience and networks within the construction sector. We are working hard to expand more in the region"
Finally, in the Eastern region Ayman Alhabash explains, "Here in the East we are fortunate to have partnered at a very early stage of our development, with Al Jalhami Contracting and Trading Co. with their head office and warehouse in Khafji and further showrooms in Dammam, Hafar Al Batin and most recently, to serve Aramco, Tabuk on the west coast, who was recently awarded the prize for "Best Performing Distributor 2017"
